Sonelle runs on your device. Your recordings, transcripts and notes are created and stored only on your phone — we have no servers that receive them, no accounts, and no analytics. The free version shows ads (described below), which, like most free apps, use a standard advertising identifier. Buying Premium removes all ads.
Everything you create in Sonelle — recordings, transcripts, typed text, scanned images and saved audio — is created and stored only on your device. Speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech, translation and text recognition all run locally, and none of your content is ever sent to AuraTech or to anyone else. The one thing that does involve a third party is advertising in the free version: to show ads, Google AdMob uses a device advertising identifier and standard device information. Premium removes ads entirely.
AuraTech itself collects nothing. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics SDKs. However, the free version of Sonelle shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google a device advertising identifier and standard device/technical information (for example device type, coarse location inferred from IP address, and ad interactions). This is used only to show and measure ads. Your Sonelle content — recordings, transcripts, notes — is never part of this and never leaves your device. If you buy Premium, ads are removed and no advertising data is collected.
The free version displays a banner and occasional full‑screen ads via Google AdMob. For the ad data it receives, Google acts as an independent data controller; its handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), Sonelle shows a consent prompt before any personalized ads are served. You can limit ad tracking at any time by resetting or deleting your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), or remove ads entirely by purchasing Premium.
Permissions related to your content are requested only when needed, and that content never leaves your device.
All content lives in Sonelle's private storage on your device. You can permanently erase everything at any time via Settings → Delete all data. Optional folder locking encrypts the contents of locked folders on your device; if your device is lost or reset, locked content cannot be recovered, by design.
If you use the in‑app Backup feature, Sonelle creates a file you choose where to save (for example to Files or your own cloud drive). AuraTech never receives this file. Locked‑folder notes are excluded from backups.
The one‑time "Premium Lifetime Unlock" is processed by Google Play Billing. AuraTech does not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Sonelle is a general‑purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Because the free version serves ads, ad requests are set to a general audience and are not directed to children.
